S is for Snark!

Can you believe this milestone? The 200th challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! And the challenge theme is Y is for Yuletide!

 Here is my project-

and on the inside-

This kinda sums up my Yuletide Spirit! As I age, I don't decorate, no tree, etc. Too much work just for me and the hubby! The stamp I used is from Artistic Impressions called Cheers to You, colored with Copics. Christmas paper is from Michaels (a long time ago), and the sentiments are computer generated.

I hope you have lots of Christmas cheer and a happier New Year!

N is for Naughty

SoSS #198 N is for Naughty

Another fun challenge with the Sisterhood! Here is my project-

Love Vintage images, and this one I found somewhere on the internet (I can't remember where, too long ago!). I have folders in my desktop I put them in, and use when the mood strikes me! Sentiment is computer generated, and all of it is mounted on some gorgeous red flocked scraps I had. I may add pearls or sequins if I get to it!

Thanks to the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers for a wonderful challenge!

Pinkfresh Wreath Challenge

Soooo...I have never owned Pinkfresh products before I got a Glimmer machine. I was watching Jennifer McGuire foil, and use Pinkfresh coordination stencils. Then I watched a Pinkfresh Studio video about the Solid Foil Plate-and ordered a bunch of stuff during the video! Here is my first attempt at foiling and stenciling with Pinkfresh! I am entering the challenge, btw.

 This was put together with:

Pinkfresh Studio Diamond Plaid Stencil

Pinkfresh Studio Daisy Wreath Hot Foiling Plate

Pinkfresh Studio Daisy Wreath Layered Stencil Set

Pinkfresh Studio Daisy Wreath Die

Spellbinders More Sentiments

This was so much fun to make!

R is for Rude

 SOSS Challenge #197 - R for Rude

Wow, I finally get to participate in another great challenge from the Sisterhood! I can definitely do rude!

Here is my project-

The only flaw in the card is who I can give it to, that respects the snarky aspect of it! Too bad that most people would be insulted to get this card-I think I'll give it to my sister. Or not.

The stamps set is called "Old Bag" and is from Unity Stamp Co. I used a portion of a real brown paper brown bag and stamped it with Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide. The cardstock is from a 6 x 6 pad that I fussy cut around the frame, and the dots are paper punched from the left over paper.

Thank you Sisterhood, for letting me get my rude on.

Kat Scrappiness Fall Challenge

Hello! Today I'm joining the Kat Scrappiness Challenge, and the theme is fall. Here is my project-

On this card I used the Forest for the Trees Die and the deer from Crafters Essentials Winter Dies, both by Kat Scrappiness. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn's You Autumn Know. The background is made with watercolor paper sprinkled with Brusho's. I think it gave a really pretty effect.

Thanks for joining me.

F is for...

At the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers, the challenge is-

SoSS Challenge #191: F is for F Words

And I decided to make my card to fit two F words! Here is my project-

And then the Snark!

This was inspired by a Jennifer McGuire Video of Swing Cards. I needed a card to thank a friend of ours for taking my husband to the Knoxville Nationals (The biggest sprint car race in the world!). And since he's an Indian chief, what was more natural than feathers? Here are the materials I used to make this card-

1. Die: Detailed Feather (Kaisercraft), circle dies (My Favorite Things).

2. Sentiment: Unity Stamp Co., Versamark Ink, Zing Silver Embossing Powder.

3. Paper: wood patterned cardstock, silver and copper shimmer cardstock.
4. Other: twine, foam dot.

I think he'll like it.

Woolly or Fluffy or Furry!

Christmas Kickstart Challenge #52 - Woolly or Fluffy or Furry!

 Here is my entry-

Love the cute mouses from House Mouse! Here are the materials I used for this card-

1. Stamp: Rolling Wreath by Stampendous.
2. Paper: Authentique Vintage Christmas One, Six & Eight, Bazzill French Vanilla and Red CS.
3. Other: Docrafts wooden snowflakes.

I'm so glad I found this challenge! Now maybe I'll get enough Christmas cards done for this year on time!

The Stockings were hung.....

Christmas Kickstart Challenge #51 - The Stockings were hung by the Chimney with Care

I'm joining in on the fun at Christmas Kickstart challenge, and here is my entry-

I have made this card for a little girl and her cat Purr. I love this Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel die! Here are the materials I used to make this card-

1. Dies: Lawn Fawn Reveal wheel, Cuttlebug banner.

2. Stamps: Lawn Fawn Christmas Dreams, Lawn Fawn Holiday Reveal Wheel Sentiments, Taylored Expressions Woodgrain.
3. Inks: Copics, Memento Rich Cocoa and Tuxedo Black ink, Speckled Egg & Gathered Twig Distress Oxide.

No being sentimental!

SoSS #178 - N is for No

Another great challenge from the Sisterhood!

Here is my project-

So, this does fit the "NO" theme. No sentimental crap. An anti-Valentine for my brother. He likes it! Very simple to create, computer generated sentiments and Unity Stamps poop emoji's. I think smiling poop counteracts the negativity, don't you?

G is for glitter!

Today I am a guest designer at Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers, and the theme is-

G is for Glitter!

And here is my project-

Front

Inside

I love to make anti-Valentines for my brother, niece, and friends. Since the theme is Glitter, I used glitter cardstock scraps to make the hearts (Poppy Stamps Heart Hillside-retired). The sentiment is a sticker I found in my NBUS stash, and the inside sentiment is computer generated with a Unity Stamp "poop" symbol! That is stamped onto white glitter paper and colored with a brown Copic. Glitter poop...who'd have thunk it?

Now get busy and get your glitter on and enter over at Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!

SoSS #175

SoSS #175 - L is for Lewd Christmas

I Love the Sisterhoods themes, and this is a favorite! Here is my project-

Sentiment is computer generated, cut with a Papertrey Ink note die. Added a green paper clip onto some OLD Micheals recollection paper, and voila! A card any single (and sometimes married) person would enjoy!

Have a safe, Covid-free Holiday Season!

C is for Chalkboard

Well, hello!

Today I was asked to be a Guest Designer at Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers for their next challenge-

C is for Chalkboard!

 Here is my project-

I put my chalkboard over the toilet, and there were multiple sentiments I had to choose from. After trying out several, I went with the one you see here. I want a real one in the master bath, but hubby isn't keen on the idea. Probably afraid the toilet seat mismanagement would be pointed out to him-repeatedly.

The toilet is from Unity Stamps (Ah crap) as is the sentiment (Stinkin Cute Add On), paper from my stash, and die cuts for the frame and the sentiment. I did use a wood embossing folder for the baseboard and frame, along with ribbon and a brad to hang up the chalkboard.

What can you make with the chalkboard theme?

F is for Friends

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers have done it again!

And here is my project-

This is the way I feel. First Covid, then the big fires that have decimated Southern Oregon. My sisters and niece live in Phoenix, Oregon and their house is one of 10 % that haven't burned in the city. Of course, they can't go back until the power and gas are back on, and clean up in the roads. Right now I can chew the air instead of breathing it. So much smoke that visibility is about 1/10th of a mile.

*SIGH*.

Well, with that being said, the image is Wine Divas by Artistic Impression, colored with Copics. A ribbon from my stash, computer generated sentiment, and paper from who knows where!

I hope you're having a much better time!

Christmas Pups

I found the Christmas Kickstart Challenge today, and thought this card fit it perfectly!

I love giving dog themed cards to my family and friends, and aren't these little pups adorable?
Here are the materials I used:

1. Dies: Winter Forest (Mama Elephant), (Oh Puppy Tree, Mama Elephant)
2. Stamps: sentiment, pups, wreath (Oh Puppy Tree, Mama Elephant), colored with Copics.
3. Paper: background paper (Creative Memories).

Have a great day!

M is for Magic

SoSS #159: M is for Magic

Oh, how I love the Sisterhood! I love the Snark, and I love the funniest bunch of women on the Internet!

Here is my project-

I mean, this guy's magical, right? Gorgeous, and possibly straight? Now that would be magical! Very simply I found the picture on the Internet, printed it, and added it to a card that I had added gold & white washi tape on the top & bottom-voila!

Join in the magic at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!

Wednesday Challenge at SSS!

Hello! Here is a project that I made for a girlfriend who LOVES dolphins for her birthday!

This was made with the Mama Elephant Making Waves Cover die on a piece of white cardstock colored with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide inks, splattered with water. The dolphins, sentiments and other sea critters are from Mama Elephant Marine Friends stamps and dies, colored with Copics. A few sequins scattered around completed the scene.

I would like to enter this in the following challenge-

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge-Anything goes

Stay safe out there!

R is for Retro-Part 2

At Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers, the challenge is R for Retro!

1. Image: She used to Care (Unity Stamp Co.), stamped with Versafine Onyx ink.
2. Paper: Theresa Collins Memorabilia 6 x 6 Paper Pad.
3. Sentiment: computer generated.

Have a great day!

R is for Retro-part 1

At Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers, the challenge is R for Retro!

1. Image: PMS Peggy (Unity Stamp Co.), stamped with Versafine Onyx ink.
2. Paper: Theresa Collins Memorabilia 6 x 6 Paper Pad.
3. Sentiment: computer generated.

K is for kids

The fun challenge at Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers is-

SoSS #156 K is for Kids

This time we are challenged by Kids and not always our own. :)

Here is my project-

and then the inside!

I found the picture on the internet, printed it and added the sentiment. The background paper (stash) and black Nuvo drops finish it off! And I think every mother has thought this at one time or another.

Thanks for visiting!

B is for Booze!

SoSS #155 B is for Booze

This week's challenge is B is for Booze and Edna looks as though she is mixing up the drinks for the sisterhood right now!

 Here is my project-

I'm definitely glad I'm of the age before cell phones!  This is a super easy card to make with the Wine Divas (Art Impressions) gal, colored with Copics. The paper is realllly old out of my stash (the date on the back said 2004!), and I used Hero Arts Infinity Rectangles to cut the image and mat. The string die is from Frantic Stamper!

I just love the fun challenges at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!
