JAS Multi Layer Card

I love to make cards with multiple uses. The challenge at JAS to make a multi-layered card, and here is mine that can be used for several different occasions-

  1. This card was made with scrap cardstock, except for the actual card and sentiment base (AC Ivory Damask).
  2. I used my Cricut cartridge Artiste to make the brown border. The sentiment was cut with the Art Philosophy cartridge, then stamped with the coordinating stamp.
  3. Ribbon is American Crafts dark brown sheer.
I hope you like it!

Chevrons & Tearing

The challenges for the Design Team at Just A Scrappin' for January is Anything Goes. But we did have choices, and I chose to combine Chevrons and tearing into one project!

The card came with the orange polka dot on the front, so I added the orange Chevron from Darling Dear Collection by Studio Calico, torn into a chunk and adhered to the card base. The image and sentiment are from the Unity Stamp set is called "Ah Crap". I used Tombow markers to color the plunger, heart, and toilet handle, then added I-Rock metal studs in three corners.

I hope you like this!

Just A Scrappin' Anything goes

For the month of January, the Design Team is free to do Anything goes! So here's my project-

Since I live in Oregon, a lot of friends I know love the University of Oregon Ducks, and the school colors are yellow and green. How could I go wrong with this card?

  1. The washi tape was at Big Lots on sale for $1.97 for the three patterns you see here.
  2. The stamp on the front is a Studio 112 I got on clearance at Joanns for $.40!
  3. Paper and the green rhinestones are out of my stash.
  4. Inside sentiment is from the Stampendous set "Birthday wish", which is a newer set.
This is the first card I've ever made with Washi tape, and I think a lot more are in my future!
