Kitty Bee March Design Spotlight

Since the challenge right now at Aloha Fridays is babies, I decided to make another baby card-

Just A Scrappin' St. Patrick's Day

At Just A Scrappin', the challenge was to make a St. Patrick's Day Card and use Vellum. Here is my card-

  1. Cardstock- Wausau Green Shimmer paper, Coordinations Vellum, Colorbok green foil and green glitter, all others from my scrap bin.
  2. Cricut Cartridges-Scalloped card and shape from Artiste, Leprechaun from Simply Charmed.

Kitty Bee Design Challenge #43-Baby

The challenge at Aloha Fridays for the next two weeks is: Babies! I used The Doodle Garden image "Little Scottie" for this project:

  1. Dark purple, lavender-Creative Memories. Purple dotted background-Coordination Brights. white cardstock for card and oval.
  2. Image colored by Prismacolor Pencils, My Favorite Things rounded rectangle dies.
  3. Cricut oval-Elegant Edges (dk purple), Plantin Schoolbook oval for computer sentiment.
  4. Stickles (holographic), Michael's elegant scroll glitter tape.

JAS Homemade Bow challenge!

This week at Just A Scrappin' the challenge is to make homemade bows-I love to make bows! Here is my project-


I bought a box of Theresa Collins note cards a few years back, and didn't quite know what to do with them. So I decided to dress up one card with ribbon (Offray) and die cuts (Spellbinders). The sentiment I got at JoAnns on sale for forty cents on clearance (Studio G).

I liked how it turned out!

I found the image on the internet, and the sentiments are computer generated. Colorbok green glitter paper and Jolee's shamrocks complete the card.

Just a Scrappin' Sparkles challenge!

At Just a Scrappin' this week the challenge is to add sparkles to a project, and here is mine-


So simple to make! I chose the background paper from DIY Crate Paper, the green strip is from my stash, and the notebook die is from Papertrey ink. White American Crafts sheer ribbon, sentiment from Hero Arts, and rhinestones from Michael's complete the card.
