SoSS #235 - S is for Steampunk
What a neat challenge! I'm not real comfortable with Steampunk, so here it goes-
What a neat challenge! I'm not real comfortable with Steampunk, so here it goes-
And I have a card today that represents Yuck twice!
Have a great day!
And here is my project-
I used the Alcohol Ink Lift Pad (Tim Holtz), and Paper Smooches stamp set Feline Friends. When used together it lifts the ink off the paper! The alcohol ink panel was one of my first ones I ever made, and the Alcohol Ink Lift Pad worked like a charm. Added some butterfly brads and embossed a sentiment on vellum and came up with a cute cat card.
Well, here I am entering another challenge at SoSS! Love these themes!
Here is my project-
The image is a new one for me (clearance rack, 1/2 off!), and I mean how could I resist? Colored with Copics, she's really a pretty lady. She's from Artistic Impression (The Queen Set). The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co. (sadly, discontinued), and the die tag is from Spellbinders Fancy Tags 2. The brick wall is an embossing folder from Darice, using Fired Brick Distress Oxides. The window is from Poppy Stamps (Large Window Die).
I hope you like!
Another great challenge from the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! It's...
and a 2nd card because I couldn't make up my mind-
The card bases are some Theresa Collins pre-made ones I've had forever. Just found them and thought I would give a go at making something with them! The vintage prints & sentiments are from Stamplorations (Retro Fashionistas and Hot Mess). The dies for the sentiments are from Cuttlebug (Labels and Such), colored with Copics and an air compressor. I also added pearls to the Half Empty card and holographic sequins to the Hot & Steamy card.
Today I am the Guest Designer at Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers, and the challenge is-
And here is my project-
And on the inside-
This card was put together using an alcohol ink background, and the Cas-ual Fridays items called Pop Fizz Clink Stamp Set and Champagne Flute Dies. I used gold mirror cardstock for the flutes and gold glitter cardstock for the bubbles. The gold glitter tends to cling to the plastic, but I think it looks like bubble trails!
Join in the challenge and have fun with glitter!
Today I'm joining the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers for-
And here is my project-
The older I get, the more I feel like this.
Here is the material list-
Today I'm entering this card at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!
The turkey card I cut with my Cricut from an SVG file from Dreaming Tree, and the inside sentiment is from Two Lips Stamps.
I made this for my niece for this year, but forgot to post it in a challenge! This was made with my Cricut. The clouds I made with my Copics and a cloud stencil, the sentiment (both inside and out) were written by my Cricut. The inside sentiments says-
I love you so much that there's almost no chance I'd use you as bait during the Zombie Apocalypse.
What a fun challenge at the Sisterhood!
Here is my project-
What a fun challenge at the Sisterhood!
Here is my project-
That's a pretty hot Santa Edna is hanging with! I wish theanta's I know were that built.
Here is my project-
This will be a great card for my brother, who has a cat that likes to terrorize my Yorkie when we visit. That cat can haul his fat butt (25 lbs!) onto the fridge, knocking everything off. Of course the kegarater being right by it helps.
The cat stamps are from the Tim Holtz Snarky Christmas cats, and the sentiments computer generated. The paper was out of my stash of scraps.
I'm joining the fun at Sisterhood of Snarky Stamps C is for Christmas!
Love the Sisterhood!
Hello there! The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers have a new challenge, and it is...
So, I made what I think is a vibrant project-
And truer words have never been spoken! I have seen (and done) stupid things under the influence of margaritas. As have many, many, many, others! Her are the materials I used to make this card-
I'm also entering this card at Simon Says Bit of Green challenge.
Can you believe this milestone? The 200th challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!
Here is my project-
I was actually going to use this as my Queen card, and changed my mind. Now, recent events have happened to rethink that decision, so I'm entering this at the Sisterhood! I gave this card to my father-in-law, as he has the perfect humor for it (And he knows that I'm poking fun at the Thanksgiving dinner disaster!). He laughed so hard! So, I printed the picture off the internet, computer generated the sentiment, and added it to patterned cardstock.
I hope you had a very Merry Christmas, and let's hope a better New Year!
Can you believe this milestone? The 200th challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! And the challenge theme is Y is for Yuletide!
Here is my project-
This kinda sums up my Yuletide Spirit! As I age, I don't decorate, no tree, etc. Too much work just for me and the hubby! The stamp I used is from Artistic Impressions called Cheers to You, colored with Copics. Christmas paper is from Michaels (a long time ago), and the sentiments are computer generated.
I hope you have lots of Christmas cheer and a happier New Year!
Another fun challenge with the Sisterhood! Here is my project-
Love Vintage images, and this one I found somewhere on the internet (I can't remember where, too long ago!). I have folders in my desktop I put them in, and use when the mood strikes me! Sentiment is computer generated, and all of it is mounted on some gorgeous red flocked scraps I had. I may add pearls or sequins if I get to it!
Thanks to the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers for a wonderful challenge!
Soooo...I have never owned Pinkfresh products before I got a Glimmer machine. I was watching Jennifer McGuire foil, and use Pinkfresh coordination stencils. Then I watched a Pinkfresh Studio video about the Solid Foil Plate-and ordered a bunch of stuff during the video! Here is my first attempt at foiling and stenciling with Pinkfresh! I am entering the challenge, btw.
Pinkfresh Studio Diamond Plaid Stencil
Pinkfresh Studio Daisy Wreath Hot Foiling Plate
Pinkfresh Studio Daisy Wreath Layered Stencil Set

This was so much fun to make!
