Gnome Birthday

SoSS #274 - G is for Gnome

Now see, this challenge is a toughie for me because I have ONE gnome die (no stamps, two digi's) in my collection. But I had never used the die so I wanted to do at least something with it-so here's my card-

This card looks better in real life-the background paper isn't nearly that grainy! The die is Spellbinders Dancin' Gnome, Spellbinders All Occasion Sentiments, DCWV cardstock, and the inside sentiment is computer generated.

Another fun challenge from the Sisterhood!

D is for Drink-Christmas Edition

SoSS #268 D is for Drink

I love to play with SoSS-I got to make a special Christmas card for my brother!

There is all kinds of bling on this. This is the Olive Martini Die Set, and Christmas Cocktails Die Set from Spellbinders. All of the papers I used were from my scrap stash-red glitter cs, silver shimmer cs, green cs, green shiny cs, red shiny cs, silver mirror cs, etc. Even the grey plaid is scrap! I added a light grey strip to make it wide enough for the card, and covered the seam with silver scroll glitter tape from Recollections. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things stamp set "Sassy Pants Holiday".

Kitty Bee Spotlight Post

Hello! Today is my spotlight day at Kitty Bee Designs, and here is the card I made-

Here is a list of materials:
  1. Front: Studio Calico Wanderlust heart paper, Colorbok LOVE stickers.
  2. Inside: Paper-same heart paper as front, white Neenah cardstock, DCWV red cardstock.
  3. Image: Love Bug at Kitty Bee Designs (fussy cut). Colored with Copics.
  4. Dies: Elizabeth Craft Designs Lucy Label Pop Up Die, Spellbinders Labels Nine.
  5. Brads: Colorbok pink heart brads.
  6. Sentiments: Computer generated "You're my love bug", Cricut Artfully Sent collection "Happy Valentines Day".
This was actually pretty easy to put together, and all centered around the "Love" and "Love Bug" themes. The ECD die is pretty awesome! I added the Spellbinders dies so that I could have a place to leave a message.

JAS Wedding Card

At Just A Scrappin' this week, the challenge is to make a wedding card. Here is my project-

Very, very simple to make! The white panel was embossed with a Cuttlebug Damaskene embossing folder (part of the Cricut Sentimentals collection). I cut the sentiment with my Cricut using the Artiste cartridge, then used a Spellbinders die (Labels 16) to die cut around the negative space. Then I  cut a larger die in a color that matched my ribbon.

The great thing is that the label shadow and ribbon can be changed to suit any wedding decor color!
