Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Embossing Challenge

At the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers, the challenge is to emboss. I have two methods on this card, which I made for my husband's birthday this coming Monday. He's a gear head, so it's perfect for him!

And since he has a pretty wicked sense of humor himself, here's the inside-

He'll get a kick out of that Unity Stamp Co. sentiment!

The embossing folder is Tim Holtz Steampunk, and I used TH Distress Ink Fossilized Amber on the embossing folder on white Neenah cardstock. I then used TH Distress Ink Broken China, Evergreen Bough and Ground Espresso to create the faux patina you see. I applied Versamark ink with a cosmetic foam wedge, applied Zing gold embossing powder, and randomly rubbed some of it off, then heat embossed.

The old Stampin' Up vintage Corvette was stamped with Moss Green ink, and I used the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher to staple the gold twine to the corners. Then the embossed panel was glued to the Bazzill dark gold, then to the American Crafts dark brown cardstock.

Thanks for visiting!
