Kitty Bee Color Challenge #99

Welcome! Today is the start of the newest Challenge at Kitty Bee Designs-

Aloha Friday Challenge #99 – Color Challenge (use at least 2 colors)

Here is my mermaid from Sasayaki Glitter-

I LOVE teal-it's one of my favorite colors! So this color challenge was easy for me. A few notes about this card-the fish stamp actually is a thought bubble with the fish in it. I fussy cut the fish and made a small school to visit the mermaid. The background was a practice piece for underwater images, but it worked perfectly for this card. Here are the rest of the materials I used:
  1. Image: Mermaid (Sasayaki Glitter), colored with Copics.
  2. Stamp: fish (If Cats Could Talk, Taylored Expressions).
  3. Dies: sentiment (Little B Sentiments), inside/outside stitched circle (Taylored Expressions.
  4. Paper: XPress It (Copic), teal glitter cardstock (scrap stash).
Thanks for visiting, and have a wonderful day!

Happy July 4th!

Hello! Today is my spotlight day at Kitty Bee Designs, and here is my project for you!

This card features Ty the Tiger, and you can find him here at the Kitty Bee Etsy Store. I had used my image with foil and a laminator, and after the image outline came out beautifully silvered, I had another Ty to foil! I put a thorough but thin coat of glue stick on a piece of black cardstock, ran it through the laminator again, and had a solid silver kitty with black outline. I fussy cut him out and added a Cricut cut hat for his 4th of July celebration. The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions (God Bless America stamp), and I added the stars from the hat under the sentiment. I used Color Box inks, Neenah Solar White cardstock, along with red, blue cardstock from Michaels.

Have a fun and safe 4th of July!

You are something special

Hello! Today is the start of the Aloha Friday Challenge For The Guys- so get busy and enter those masculine cards to win digi's from our sponsors-

and

Here is my project:

This beaver is simply adorable, and I used the sentiment that came with the digi for a Father's Day card for my father-in-law. This image (colored with Copics) and sentiment is from Every Day Animals from Just Me Digital Stamps. I used a Taylored Expressions inside/outside stitched circle on my printed panel, and added a background panel I made with Distress Oxide inks and a Cricut mountain border. I also cut the "dam" logs with my Cricut, and I hope it looks like the stacked logs that beavers cut down to make the dams.

Thanks for stopping by!

Kitty Bee Designer Spotlight

Hello! Today is my spotlight day at Kitty Bee Designs, and here is my project today-

I made this card for my husbands birthday on April 25, and it's from me and the two fur children-Filo Beddoe (Yorkie) and Sophie (Beagle).

I try hard at CAS, but I think I achieved it here. That image is I Heart You Pup, here at the Kitty Bee Designs Etsy Store, colored with Copics. The background paper is from Authentique, and I used MFT's fishtail banner dies and Stampendous dog phrases for the sentiment, and an Elizabeth Crafts Design die (Spiral Pull Card) for the hearts out of red scrap paper.

I hope you like it, and thanks for visiting!

Designer Spotlight at Kitty Bee Designs

Hello! Today is my spotlight day at Kitty Bee Designs, and here is my project today-

This is so out-of-the-box for me! This card is all about the shapes. The background paper (old Creative Memories) dictated the whole color scheme. I used My Favorite Things inside & out stitched ovals and circles for the shapes and a Little B die sentiment, all of them cut out of my scrap bin papers. That image is Cupcake Suprise, here at the Kitty Bee Designs Etsy Store, colored with Copics

I hope you like it!

Thanks for visiting, and I'm hoping to see the sun soon!

SoSS Stencil Challenge

I was so thrilled to see this challenge at Sisterhood of Snarky Stamps-S is for Stencils! I've had the stamp, the clip art, the stencil, all ready and waiting to put this idea together! Yeah, a year later and it's done-ha!

Here it is:

For Christmas, my hubby got me the PERFECT little compressor for my Copic markers. The stencil is from The Crafters Workshop and is a 6 x 6 size. I used R37 and a YR 27 for the flames, and Y08 for the internal flames and the sentiment box. B000 colored the sky.  I found the roller coaster on the internet somewhere (it was a while back). The sentiment is by Riley & Co., which besides being funny is also all too true! My friend Reva is complaining about hot flashes, so she'll get a big kick out of this card!

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! I hope you've had a wonderful Holiday Season! Here is a card I made for you-

Isn't that little snow bunny mischievious? I wouldn't trust him with that pile of snow balls right beside him! You can find this image here. He was colored with Copics. I used Frantic Stamper Reverse Snowfall die and Frantic Stamper Stitched Scene die to make snow covered hills. The stamp is from Unity Stamp Co. and the grey snowflakes are Beistle Snowflake Confetti, at Amazon. The snowflakes came in white, grey, and really pretty iridescent pinky lavender.

I hope you enjoyed my card!
