JAS Decorate a bag Challenge

At JAS, the Challenge this week is to make and/or decorate a bag, and this is my project-

I love Damask! This paper is from My Mind's Eye Damask stack. The sentiment I cut with my Cricut (Beyond Birthdays cartridge), and finished decorating with some Michaels black and white flowers from their dollar bin, along with the rhinestone trim from the same bins! The white gift bags were from the dollar store, so this was very inexpensive to decorate up! This can be used for Birthdays, Weddings, or Graduations.

Thanks for looking!

JAS Vintage Ink or Markers

Here's my JAS challenge card using distress inks or markers-

I used Tim Holtz distress markers Weathered Wood, Tattered Rose, Victorian Velvet, Frayed Burlap, and Shabby Shutters with a Stampendous wood mounted stamp called Scribbled Heart. I cut out the stacked hearts and pop dotted them along the side. The sentiment is from Unity Stamps Everything Love Collection.

I'm giving this to my Mom. She's in the hospital right now with blood clots in her legs, and I think this card will cheer her up tremendously.

JAS Embossing Challenge

This week at Just A Scrappin', the challenge was to use embossing, either wet or dry-I did both!

Here's what I did:
  1. Used Spellbinders Heart Circles to get the sentiment shape and the red glitter cardstock shape. Stamped sentiment (Unity Stamps Loving You set) with Versamark ink, embossed with white embossing powder. Pink circle cut with Plantin Schoolbook, Cricut).
  2. Embossed light pink cardstock with Cuttlebug Love Words. Matted onto red glitter cardstock.
  3. Used the leftover red glitter hearts from largest circle to float down the side.
  4. Adhered sentiment layers, let edge hang off to the side.
I'm also entering this at CAS-ual Fridays Hang off the Edge Challenge.
