Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers-Pink Halloween!

Boy, this was a tough challenge for me! The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers really got me this time. I wracked my feeble little mind till I thought of the idea for this card-

I made this card with my Cricut and the cartridges A Frightful Affair and Simply Charmed (ghost & wine glass). All of the paper is out of my scrap stash, and the sentiment was computer generated and cut out with the MFT Fishtail banner.

Have a great Halloween, and thanks for visiting!

Kitty Bee Designs Spotlight

Hello! Today at Kitty Bee Designs it's my turn at the spotlight, and here is a card I made for my bunny loving niece!

This was a real quick card to make. The image is Kitty Bee Designs image Best Bun, colored with my Copics. The background paper is old Creative Memories, and the smaller blocks are from my scrap stash. The dies are from My Favorite Things (Stitched Circles, Fishtail Banner), and the stamps are Doodlebug Alphabet by Clear Expressions. A Creative Memories punch made the heart for the sentiment. I'm going to stamp a birthday sentiment inside and give it to her on Oct. 30.

Thanks for visiting, and have a creative day!

Have a pink Christmas!

Hello and welcome! A friend of mine told me about a pink Christmas challenge, so here is a card I made!

This card was made with a Spellbinders die cut twice with pink and green shimmer paper by DCWV. White cardstock by Neenah was used for the card and layer, with American Crafts pink and white twine finishing it off. I used the cut snowflakes of pink and green for the center of the bow.

This is being entered at:

JAS Circle card Challenge

At Just A Scrappin', we are challenged to make circle cards. I made mine a scalloped circle using Art Philosophy and my Cricut! Here is a Christmas card I made-

The card base is white cardstock by Close To My Heart. The topper is made with green shimmer paper (Wausau), and green foil (Colorbok). The ornament was made with the Anna Griffith Winter Wonderland cartridge at 4", and I wouldn't go smaller than this as the layering pieces are extremely detailed. I used silver, gold, white, and pewter shimmer paper (Wausau) and topped the ornament with gold cording. The sentiment is on a scrap piece of white cardstock, stamped with Versamark ink and embossed with Hero Arts Green Shimmer powder. A corner rounder on opposite corners finished the sentiment.

Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Boobs!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. A cause near and dear to Edna and the sisterhood as many of us have loved ones and friends who have strongly and courageously battled breast cancer.

The above was taken directly from the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers challenge page. Here is a card I'm sending to my friend in Idaho-

Here is a list of materials:
  1. Unity Stamp Co. for the front sentiment, and MFT Fishtail banner.
  2. Body I freehand drew, cut out. Added "boobs" using MFT Circle dies and made ribbon tassels. Hey, she could be a stripper.
  3. Inside message computer generated.
  4. Paper: white Neenah cardstock, Bazzill beige, Creative Memories pink patterned.

I had to hurry up and get this done, and I'm barely under the wire! At Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers (all of whom I adore!) the challenge is Steampunk. I have never done a steampunk card before, so I don't know how accurate I am. Anyway, here is the card-

and here are the materials-
  1. Image-Graphics Fairy.
  2. Embossing Folder: Steampunk by Tim Holtz.
  3. Dies: gears by Artiste (Cricut)

JAS Flower Card

Hello! The challenge at Just a Scrappin' is to have a project with flowers, and here is a card I made-

I take Copic classes, and this was a practice piece we did, so I couldn't tell you who made the stamp. After the image was colored, we used Glossy Accents to highlight parts of the flowers, and used a grey Copic around the image. The purple ribbon is from the $1 store, the patterned cardstock is by Coordinations, and the card base is DCWV Solid cardstock. I also used a corner punch to round the opposite corners of the paper elements.
