Wow. I have to thank the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers for the Y is for Yuck challenge, which I'm entering this post for. I made a card out of one piece of yuck paper and entered it into the challenge. But in looking for that particular piece, I found more. Much more. So much more that I had to make a New Years Resolution to eliminate all paper from my stash(es) I don't like or love. If it isn't suitable for an envelope, it's going into a box for Goodwill. Life is too short for yucky paper (I may have to start on ribbons, too!). So here is just a sampling of shitey paper-
EWWWWWW! Pukey. Awful. Terrible.
So I have to thank the Sisterhood for forcing a purge-it's a good thing, right? Who'd want something made out of this stuff! And even though I'll suffer terrible embarrassment from posting this, I'll manage somehow. It did force me into a late morning cocktail...

I'll admit that some of these, I don't particularly care for, but the polar bears, the golf clubs, the Easter eggs in grass, and the colorful hearts paper?? I want those!
You can have them! I'll send them to you-email be at beaglefest at charter dot com!
Hee hee hee that is awesome! Glad we've inspired you to destash your yuck!
I love that you called them "shitey" papers :D
I was waiting to see stuff that I have in my stash too, but no, I think you have your own unique pile of yuck! Although like Chris, I quite like some of them; others -- yeah, not so much. Thanks for sharing with the Sisterhood!
I have a pile of paper that I am giving away as well.. great thing to do purge. Thanks for joining our YUCK challenge at Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers.
I guess we all did a big purge of yucky paper. I think some of those papers are cute. Thanks for sharing with us.
I like the polar bears too! I am glad to see that I am not the only one that went through a purge! Looks like you did a great job!
OK I gotta say - you made me giggle several times reading this! And I'm SO GLAD that I'm not the only one who has gobs of shitey paper, lol!!
Too funny, Michelle! It is amazing how we evolve as paper crafters. I have a stack of crappy papers and I use them as trash papers (i.e.for Copic coloring, stamping, die cutting, etc) before I use my nice paper for a project. Ugly paper can be useful sometimes. And at other times, I do what you do...PURGE. Better someone else's home then mine =)
