SoSS Y is for Yuck challenge

I knew I could do this. I have a stack of paper that is in my OMGWDIBT pile (oh my gosh, why did I buy that?).  Since I need more birthday cards, I challenge myself to make something of this particular piece of paper. Here it is -

If it's ugly, glam it up! I don't know who made the bg paper, but the solid burgundy is from Jo-Anns and the foil is from a paper pack from Wal-Mart. The sentiment is a die from My Craft Spot, and the presents are cut with my Cricut Celebrations cartridges.

I'm actually kinda happy with how it turned out-I really didn't expect it! I'm entering this at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Y is for Yuck Challenge.

The little presents turned out cute to go with that paper. I have realized that paper stacks are no longer for me, as they never get used up! Thanks for joining us for the Y is for Yuck challenge at SoSS!

It really does make for a great birthday card when you treat it this way! Celebratory, even. ;) Not yucky in the end at all! Thanks for joining us at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!

Now THAT is an excellent acronym! I could assemble quite a pile of that. I love how your card turned out even with the less than stellar starting materials ;) So glad you came to play with the Snarky Sisters!
