Kitty Bee Fall Colors Challenge

The new challenge at Kitty Bee Designs is Fall Colors. The winner of this challenge will receive 3 images of the winner’s choice from any of the 3 creators (Reece's Scrap Pieces, Cootsy Creations, and Stitchy Stamps) up to a value of $10!

Here is my project-

I used the image RSP Sunflower (Reeces Scrap Pieces) from Stitchy Bear Stamps. I like the colored image they provided so well that I fussy cut it and pop dotted it onto a rusty red from Bazzill (Die Cut with Spellbinders Labels Nine, inked edges with brown ink). The sunflower paper is from Best Creations, the beige is Bazzill embossed with Cuttlebug folder leaves, and used brown enamel dots and household twine to finish it off.

I also made a more springtime colored card here-

This one I colored with my colored pencils. The paper I chose to compliment the image are so spring-like!

I like having Sentiment free cards around-you can use them for any occasion.

Thank you for joining me today, and make sure you enter out challenge at Kitty Bee Designs!

I would also like to enter this at Dazzling Diva Challenge Fall Colors.

JAS-Use it or lose it

At Just A Scrappin- the Design Team Challenge is to use a product that you have bought but never used. Here is my project-

The product I used is the soft gel (gloss) from Golden. I even used a stencil I had never used.

This was actually so easy. I sprayed the back of my stencil with repositionable Stencil Spray, then mixed Golden's red acrylic paint with the soft gel gloss. I used just a dab of gel, and a couple of drops of paint, and mixed with a palette knife. On a plain white piece of cardstock I put my stencil down, and really pressed down so the goop wouldn't seep under the edges. I had enough goop to make two panels. Cleanup was easy, just soap and water. After the panels dried, I mounted them onto a mat of red cardstock. The center image is an old Stampin' Up stamp of a 1957 Chevy Bel-Air convertible done with red Studio G ink and clear embossing powder. The sentiment is an old rub-on I still had around, along with the black enamel dot.

I think I'm going to send this to my brother for his birthday-after all, what guy doesn't like getting a classic car for his birthday?

JAS-Color an Image with Markers

At JAS this week, we are challenge to color an image with markers, so I chose to color an older PSX stamp-

I chose to color this image with my Spectrum Noir pens in purple. I went through several stacks of papers before finding this in a DCWV Cherry Limeade pack. I love damask! A purple ribbon and bow top off this cards.

I'm making more and more sentiment-less cards. I can make this a birthday, hello card, get well soon, etc! I like to make the cards more user friendly if I give them away, too!

Thanks for joining me this week!
